# Get the firm's inherited governance rules

**GET /api/v1/firm/{firm_uuid}/network-settings/governance**

A firm admin's view of every network setting: its effective value,
whether it's Mandatory, Overridden at Firm, or simply Inherited, and -
when overridden - the network value it replaces. Restricted to users
holding the network-configuration-overrides:read permission (Owner and
Admin), unlike the broader firm.network-settings.index endpoint that
any firm employee can view.
